Sorry I’m late but Thursday was a big rush and I just did not have time to post... I’m not pleased with my eating but pleased that I’m only up 1.5 from last week as I fell into a huge bag of Halloween candy:rolleyes2: ... I’m not going to get discouraged just going to hope that one day I will get dedicated about weight loss ....

So, how did you do? ... We are almost at the end of the race and heading into the season for all things good to eat ... as Charlie Brown would say. “Good Grief” ....:biggrin2:

Thanksgiving Day Marathon Starting Weight: 217
Last Week .... 224
This Week .... 225.5
Marathon Stats .... +8.5

We all know that these numbers shift some from day to day, but as of this morning, Superbob (aka "superb-bob") is ..

Down 4.1 pounds for the Marathon to Thanksgiving.

Superbob hopes to improve on those numbers by a few more pounds lost before the holidays and all the goodies that come with them.

By my calculations, we are four weeks away from ending this race. Cooker you have plenty of time to get in gear. Superbob has plenty of time to lose more weight and kick our butts!:biggrin2:
I'm up a pound for the week. It's probably due to the bowl of candy I fell into!:eek2:

I fell into two big bags of candy, added to two big burgers with fries I had this week, and that somehow has resulted in a .8 lb loss. So I'm up 1 for the race. I consider this to be a superb result. The word of the day is superb, as in superb-Bob!

I'm guessing that Cindy might weigh tomorrow?

Seems like the common denominator diet-wise for some of us is the dreaded "bag". Bag of candy, bag of cheeseburgers, bag of donuts, bag of scones, bag of cotton candy. It goes on and on.
I suggest all Throwdowners keep their guard UP and be aware that BAD BAGS are lurking about, waiting for us to fall into them.

Superbob ain't never seen no bag 'o scones. But if any Throwdowner is menaced by one, just give Superbob a call and he will fly in and take away the offending scones. ; )

While I'm thinking of it, everyone on the Throwdown should remember longtime member, Phyllis. She and husband Dick live in New London, CT, and their house and property sit right smack-dab on Long Island Sound. They're anticipating Hurricane Sandy's arrival and hoping they escape with little damage. I'm holding a good thought and hoping they, and everyone else in Sandy's path, survive relatively unscathed.

I am keeping Phyllis and her loved ones in my prayers. Here in coastal SC, we've gotten by with some brisk, barely tropical winds and a few inches of rain, which we needed. It looks like it's going to be terrible farther north when Sandy takes that left turn. Praying for all the folks up there.

On the eating front, we went to Carrabbas last night to celebrate granddaughter's birthday. (Yes, this was during our "tropical storm warning.") I had the pork chop marsala, which was sensationally good. All I can say in my behalf is that I saved half of it for dinner tonight. But I have some working-out to do to preserve my TD loss. :D
