It’s a great day in South Carolina!!! ... Fall is in the air, I’m down 2 pounds, headed to the golf course and then a day with my girl!!! ... I have managed to get on plan and stay on plan ... Back on WW and it’s working ... No magic bullets; they don’t work for me ... I’m hoping WW will help me learn to eat properly ....

How has your week gone? ... I will grant Superbob a mulligan in honor of the celebration of his nuptials ... No lip from TheRef:tongue2:

Thanksgiving Day Marathon Starting Weight: 217
Last Week .... 221
This Week .... 219
Marathon Stats .... +2

Good job Cooker! WW does work. Now it's time for me to count my points again this week. After an almost week of sliding in the wrong direction, I'm turning my ship around. I will weigh, sometime, but I know it won't be today... : (

Hi Ref RealDeal!

Thanks for the offer of a mulligan, Mr. Chimp, but the Man of Steel doesn't need it.

No gain for the past week -- a major accomplishment, considering the anniversary feasting. :smile2:

For the Turkey Day Marathon: down 2.8 pounds.

Take that, RealDeal Ref! -- nyah, nyah, nyah! :tongue2::tongue2::tongue2:

Hey RealDeal ..... what's your weigh in report????? .... Bucking for a replay?????:tongue2:

Ref ain't talking until she gets a raise and better playing conditions!:mad2:

But Duffey reports a loss for the week. Not enough to get me back to the start of the Marathon weight, but a loss nevertheless.:tongue2:

Last week: 151
This week: 149.5
For the week: 1.5 loss:smile2:
For the race: .5 GAIN:frown2:

I'm "down" to 141.6 as of Monday's WW weigh in, though a tad higher today. I think I'm managing to lose about 1/2 lb per week, maybe, of this cruise weight. Gosh, it's slow, and difficult, and frustrating.

Plus work is insane, so by the time I get home for dinner, I'm STARVED, and EXHAUSTED, and STRESSED, and I want WINE. Or Xanax.

It seems we're all struggling a little bit. Maybe the RealDeal Ref is making headway?

A rather late and abbreviated report. In effect, Cindy is up .1 for the race, weighing 155.9. I am down 1.5 for the race, weighing 187.3. That's a gain for both of us, as of Saturday. This morning it would have been worse, I'm sure. Trying to turn this vehicle around in the middle of a steeply descending and winding road. : (

I'm down a little. I would like to lose at least 5 pounds in the next five weeks. We leave for New Orleans about that time, so that's the motivation. We ate at Lambert's, home of the throwed rolls, Saturday night, and I did pass on the six inch high meringue on the coconut cream pie. It pains me to think about it.:frown2:

One should never, ever pass up the meringue. I'm think about getting a lemon meringue scone right now. :tongue2:

Awfully quiet around here this week.

I fought the urge to go to Sugar Buzz bakery yesterday for just-baked apple/cranberry tarts. After dinner I caved and enjoyed a chocolate ice cream cone.:eek2:

I have injured myself. They think it is a pinched nerve in my neck. Very, very painful. Muscle relaxers and chiropractor seem to have me on track. Been out of work for two days; this sucks.

Cooker, certainly sorry to hear that. I have a chronic issue with my neck that caused a pinched nerve. One of the most painful experiences I've had. Sounds like you're following doctor's orders, which of course you must do for this pesky thing. Hope you're feeling better soon!
