As I emailed Mary .... I need a sidekick and Charlie is perfect .... I have many things to teach the lad .... I'm sure he already has the heart breaker part down pat;);)

I think Charlie needs a sidekick Cooker. Sorry - we ladies just can't resist a bald male in diapers......that are 3 years of age or younger

He's adorable Grandma!! God bless him and his little chubby cheeks!

He sure is looking cute, and even better, healthy! He'll definitely give Cooker a run for his money! Mary, you're a lucky grandma. I hope to be in your place someday, but not for at least 8-10 years! I have to get my two teenagers whipped into shape first!

Charlie is just so very cute and cuddly...makes you just wanna pick him up and give him kisses...what a lucky Grandma you are...good to see he looks to have recovered well from his health scare recently.

Cooker's sidekick . . . what a thought--LOL!
What a cutie, oh no a Cooker in training :)
How has he been healthwise?

Yesterday we received word that he is approved for the synagis series of immunizations to prevent RSV, and we are much relieved. The shots are expensive, currently $2400 a dose, and very difficult to have approved in a baby born after 35 weeks. Charlie was born at 37 weeks, but his valve and the casts, along with the recent scare, were strong enough considerations that he will receive his first shot today. The medication is overnighted by UPS, and then a home health nurse goes to the house to administer it.

Monday we're taking him back to Shriner's for his last cast before they cut the heel tendons on February 2. I am NOT going along for that one! After the procedure he'll be outfitted with one last cast that will remain on for three weeks, then he'll be fitted for braces.:) That will be a red letter day!:) He sees the pediatric cardiologist on February 17 so we'll learn more about his heart then.
He IS a cutie and loves to be held. Hmmm . . . maybe Cooker should be Charlie's sidekick?

Orrrrrr how cute, what a little sweetie. Hope everything goes well with all the apppointments. He looks so well.

I'm thrilled there was no problem getting the shots. Justin almost died after RSV,of course it was during post op time when he was in the middle of his 6 months of pericardial effusions BUT out of all his surgeries and complications RSV was one of the few times his chances were very low of surviving. I was releived when they came out with the shots so others could avoid that, Luckily the companies are getting much better about givng them to the kids that really need them, since you need them for 2 years the costs is ridiculous.
