Greetings Throwdowners! ... I hope this finds everyone well and making progress with your individual plans ... I'm up 2 pounds this week, surprised it's not more ... I start each day saying this will be a good and sensible eating day and somewhere along the line someone holds me down and force feeds me some high caloric sugary snack:rolleyes2: ... I guess I need a body guard or maybe hire a "snack coach", hey, Carlie Sheen hired a "sober coach", come to think of it that did not work either, sorry Charlie ... anyway, I hope for the best and hopefully move downward .... peace out:cool2:

When Superbob is good, he is very, very good, :angel: but when he is bad, he's horrible. :biggrin2: Well, this week, Superbob has been good. Started an exercise class, beach-walking Superdawg and night-walking her, too, running after grandkids and puppydawg, and eating grilled salmon last night.

Result: Superbob has lost 2 pounds this week.

Total loss so far for the Red, White, and Blue: 3 pounds.,
 
:smile2:Cooker, sounds like you're starting the day off wrong. Try telling yourself that you're going to eat everything in sight, and then surprise yourself when you don't. :rolleyes2:Chimps aren't known for early morning self-control.:tongue2:

Congratulations, Superbob. I bet you're going to enjoy the exercise class. By the way, your beach is ranked #1 in the United States, so it's great that you and Superdawg are taking advantage of it.:smile2:

I've had a good week. I'm down two pounds from last Thursday. That puts me back at no loss for the race, but I'm not fussing.

I'm at 136.6 today, down 1.2 from last Friday, but pretty much in the same place I have been for the last month. Up one, down one.
I've walked on the treadmill every morning for 10 minutes -.5 miles. I'll move up to 15 minutes next week, but 5:30 a.m. exercise is a bit of a shock to the system.
I walked my 1.25 miles (25 minutes) at lunch every day,
and walked Jet every evening 17 to 35 minutes - longer walks on the days DH plays raquetball, .75 miles on the short walk, 1.5 miles+ for the long walk.
That's close to a 3 mile/5K walk every.single.day.

Ok, give it up - I'm a beach bum, so where is the #1 beach in the USA? I just read where thongs are unhealthy...so guess I have to throw that booger away..:biggrin2:

One failure, one success..!! I actually forgot - really, this is the truth Duffy...and bought some clothes yesterday..:eek2: That's my failure for the week, but my one success adds up to a two pound loss..:thumbup:

So now, I am motivated..!! Congratulations to all the losers this week and not to worry Chimp -- you're such a sweetie pie and so full of sugar already that what's a little more..:angel:

Congrats on the loss. I sure feel alot better when I'm losing, and I try to keep that in mind when faced with old friends bearing DONUTS!:wink2:
 
I'm joining the party late as usual. SB good job on the weight loss. I've been following the chimp's regime more than SB's unfortunately, but somehow miraculously as of my usual weigh in date - last Friday. I was down .8

I'm not going to tell you what I weigh today - TEX-MEX - Enough said! My rehab nurses were not too happy with me when I went today. First day back at work today too.... ugh.

Mary and Janie - sounds like y'all are on the right track! Laurie - keep plugging away along with the rest of us throwdowners. Mr. Chimp - I'll put down the sugar when you do! I got into a bad habit of swinging by Sonic - which is right by my house - for a Sonice Blast fix.... bad girl bad, bad girl. I'm going to put blinders on on my way home today.

Mrs. Superbob has had a full day of meetings and Superbob knows she is about to suggest they go to the friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant for dinner. Don't ask how he knows, he just knows. Super powers and all.:rolleyes:

Help! -- what can SB order at an Italian eatery that won't wreck his weight-reduction plan? (He already brings home half, but even half of some of those huge meals can be way high in cals etc.) Is it just a hopeless cause at an Italian restaurant? And don't say SB should tell Mrs. SB we're going to a lite-menu place. Won't work. Don't ask how he knows. He just knows. :p
 
Do they serve a chicken dish? Might order that and ask them to go light with the sauce. Or order a side portion of pasta to reduce the size.

Superbob will keep that advice in mind for the next Italian challenge, Duffey. This time, SB go tthe jump by suggesting to Mrs. SB that Subway would be an easy alternative tonight. Turkey breast and black forest ham and lots of veggies on a wheat roll. Yummy!
 
I felt the slightest bit of resolve this morning ... not sure if it will last ... not sure which is gaining on faster, age or weight:rolleyes2: ... congrats to all ... everyone seems to doing great ... :thumbup:
