Greetings losers:D ... I hope everyone has had a great week! I have been a good Chimp this week:p ... Even though I yoyo a good bit I have kept my weight slowly coming down and this is what the ThrowDown is all about ... Keeping our weight in the proper range is not only heart healthy but has overall health benefits ... Have a great weekend and stay the course!!!

Down 4.....:)

Starting weight..........233
Last Week ..................195
This week.....................191
Total Loss ....................42

Good job Cooker! We'll see what the scale says at this house tomorrow. I don't think I'm making much headway lately, even though I've eaten better.

And weren't you the same chimp that had a cone and a milkshake less than a week ago!! You must have some good karma or soemthing! Anyway - I won't be petty - Congrats and keep it going... I'll throwdown my numbers as usual tomorrow on my official weigh in. It will be my birthday and surely the birthday fairy will be kind....won't she??

I started a different less restrictive diet this week. Today I had my first 'white' food in 6 plus weeks (it was a low carb wrap and it sure tasted good...)

WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT GO ON CHANG'S WEBSITE AND LOOK AT NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION!!!

I LOVE P.F. Changs but feel so guilty going there because I read the nutritional info. :(

My weight is holding it's own. Unfortunately. But I'm okay with it. I'd like to loose 5-8 more pounds to be in a zone that I have some leeway.

I looked at the menu and ignored the nutritional information link. Sounds like that was a good choice.

You've done really well Karlynn. Good for you. Five to eight is pretty darn close to the finish line!

Well, I weighed anyway. Cindy hasn't weighed yet.

Although I went up .8 from yesterday, for the week I am down .8, so I'm happy with that.

I'm bouncing up and down 2 lbs. Mostly water, according to my wedding band. Fat fingers.

It doesn't help that with this ear problem I can't hold still on the scale! I'm not getting any exercise to speak of this week, because I've felt pretty carpy with this intermittent vertigo, and the drugs make me sleepy.

I'm hoping we get some drier weather for a few days, and that this will help the ear congestion.
Boo hooo. pity party over.

Well now I see your problem with the water in your ears Agility Dog. If you're feeling pretty carpy then you had better get out of the pond and back on dry land! Yuck Yuck... lame joke I know! :p:D

Karlynn if you only have 5 to 8 lbs to go to be where you'd like, I'd say you are doing damn good! Wish I knew what that felt like! Maybe one day I'll be close enough to find out!:;)

OK - I'm throwing it out there....and the B-day fairy wasn't as nice as she should have been. 1.8 lbs. have disappeared. Now if I used yesterday's weight, it would have been much better - 3 lbs. (Must have been that low carb wrap or something.! ) Scales are weird things.... and I'm a Libran so you think they'd be in my favor more.

Starting weight: 224
Last Week: 212
This week: 210.2
Weekly loss: - 1.8
Total loss: 13.8

I am going to indulge in TexMex on Sunday with my sister and nieces for my official b-day party. That margarita(s) is going to taste soooo good too. To hell with the scale next week I say! A girl has got to have some fun!

Good luck to the rest of you losers. Hope to 'see' less of you next week!

I am now officially someone who exercises. I don't think it is all that it is cracked up to be though. I'm remembering something about myself. I don't like to exercise. I like exercising even less than I like dieting....no wonder I have a problem. All the hype about feeling so much better once you start working out???? Well, I'm not there yet. My weight has stayed the same but I've been on antibiotics the last couple of weeks and they sometimes hinder any weight loss. I have eaten very healthy though and right now I'm smelling low fat chili that is simmering on the stove. It is a rainy day here and chili just sounded good to me.

Cooker, you remain an inspiration! Great job! I mean any loss is good...Wise, 0.8 lbs is a good thing too! Wildflower...great job! Colleen 5lb...amazing!

Everyone have a good week. Hopefully this time next week I will be a loser.

Me too!!! I walk 4 miles 3 days a week with my 2 best friends. That's about the only enjoyable exercise I do - and our mouths get more exercise than the rest of us.

I usually take a cab to the bathroom :p... But I use to walk 3 miles several times a week ... It was 1.5 miles the Bruster’s Ice Cream Parlor and 1.5 miles home:D

Well now you have me thinking that I should allow myself a brownie for every mile I do.

Amen sister! I see part of my problem now though - I'm not walking far enough, but if I increase my route by another mile, I'll pass right by a Krispy Kreme!!!! Danger! Danger!:eek:

Good job, Cooker! :D

I've been trying not to gain any weight while on my exercise restriction, so we'll see at my next weigh-in. I went to a planning meeting for our local AHA Go Red for Women Luncheon and the AHA paid for our dinner. We had a choice...I went for the least of three evils--Asian Chicken Salad. Ate half and all the chicken (grilled strips), but the worst was dessert! My Achilles Heel is chocolate, and we were served brownie bites drizzled in chocolate. I only ate one but was ready to eat the whole thing. Sheesh.

It sucks not being able to exercise now that I actually ENJOY it! Who knew?
