Congratulations Cubs Fans

As a native Atlantan, I have always been a die hard Braves fan. But since the arrival of cable TV and WGN the Cubs have been my # 2 team. If the Braves couldn't win it, I'm glad the Cubs did. Now...go beat the Marlins!!!!!

First of all the Braves rally cry is worse and second of all, like I said in a previous post if the Cubs play the way they are capable of playing the only hearts that will be broke will be the Marlins, Red Sox/A's/ Yankees Oh and of course their fans Just ask the Braves.

I never said anything ugly about the Cubs. Even invited yall down for a free room. The only thing I'm sorry about is the fact that my age 89 year old widowed Daddy..is disappointed. Every team has their own way of cheering. Bonnie

You are very right. You handled everything politely and gracefully. I too feel sorry for your dad because believe me I know what it''s like to root on a team and be disappointed and if the Cubs hadn't won I would have cheered for the Braves (except for Fick) because they deserved it. It's kind of funny, when my daughters played high school sports that tomahawk chop was their way of motivating the team (Morris Redskins). At that time it was fun. But I was afraid it would motivate the Braves a little too much. Please don't be mad.
