Has any one heard of or know about the virtual colonoscopy? I understant it is not as good as the other however, sounds like it may be of some help. Any suggestions? loret

IMHO, I think virtual testing is a great idea and will become the norm in the future. We have way too many invasive tests and people are starting to resist. I, myself, will not have any more colonoscopies because of the various requirements for them. Might be a bad decision but it is one I am comfortable with. I had one about 10 years ago and the bridge therapy, the prep stuff (which made me sick and caused heart irregularities) and the strong antibiotics (which I reacted to also), made it an experience I do not want to repeat.
Now, if they could do the virtual one without the prep stuff, I would be back in business.
