Hi,
New here despite being a viewer for many years(my mum is the patient and had had her mitral valve replaced in 1998. Hoping someone can help me regarding bridging therapy.
My mum had a colonoscopy late last year and remained on her warfarin medication throughout. They found a single sessile polyp(2mm in size) and have arranged for her to have it removed next week. She has been prescribed with clexane and told to take 1 100mg/ml per day(her weight is 73kg) I know everyone is different, but after searching around I've noticed that most people are on 2x injections a day as the drug only lasts 12hrs?!?! We have already spoken to our GP who has said this is the correct dose but I thought I'd check here as people on this website are usually more informed than many of the doctors. Thanks, Chris
