I went ahead and sent an inquiry to the Cleveland Clinic. I spoke of the moderate regurgitation, the falling ef, and the fact that I have symptoms although I couldn't say for sure if it is related to the regurgitation or my other heart issues.
I already have an account there as I was there for a second opinion in August which will make it easier.
I watched a pod cast today from Cleveland Clinic regarding mitral surgery and it sort of scared me that they talked about co-morbidies (sp) and with my other heart issues I hope would qualify. Much of the talk was about the EF and mine right now is 40%.
So this was my first step and I am anxious to see my response.
Thanks for listening:tongue2:

LOL Larry, it does but it is some good advise!! I did print off the list of questions that you sent Greg, thanks!!

I am just ready to get some answers as I am sure everyone is!!

Kimberly, have you spoken with any surgeons yet at Cleveland? Who is receiving your inquiries? Just wondering if you are comfortable with the responses or if you need to identify and reach out to a specific surgeon first.

Kimberly, write down every question that comes to your mind and try to get as much details from your doctor that may calm your fears down. Once you receive answers, you shall feel a bit better. So, try to keep the anxiety away as anxiety will affect your ability to think, listen, and make good judgements.

Take a deep breath and try to relax as you shall be in the care of the best hospitals.:smile2:

Keep us posted.
