Does anybody know any sites on CHF.I tried a search on here but it says no matches. Iam not happy my son keeps saying he gets a pain near is heart, he had one tonight, it as been going on for about 4 weeks but not every night it varies and somtimes he has 2 or 3 in one night. Once we phoned the NHS help line but they said he would have pains in is arm if there was a problem. He is also complaining that his legs are aching, there is no swelling. He got out of breath once playing basketball, he has dark circles under his eyes but that could be just lack of sleep as he doesnt always go off till late and hes had a cough for over a week but gets them quite often anyway.I was thinking of ringing the hospital tomorrow and having a chat with them. If anyone as any advice i would be greatfull. Paula x

Paula,

I do think you should check in with Curtis' doctor. His aching legs with no swelling might be a sign that his oxygen levels are down. I don't really know about 'heart pain' but there could be lung problems, especially since you mentioned his cough. Hope it's nothing serious.

Thanks for the replys, much apreciated ( i do wish i could spell lol). I rang the hospital today told them of my concerns and that i wanted his check_up to be sooner, iam waiting for the liasion nurse to ring me back, it will be today or tomorrow. She is going to look at Curts file and then let me know.

I got a phone call back and they say they dont think it is to do with his heart condition. If he gets any more pains in his chest we can get a 24 hour ECG moniter.He is ill at the moment with somthing completly different ( no rest for the wicked lol) so i wont have much time to come on.
