Hi everyone,
I am writing about a problem I am having. A few weeks ago I had an episode where I was having intense pain right in the center of my chest. It was a sharp pain that was constant for about ten or fifteen minutes before subsiding. It kept coming and going for the next hour or so. It sort of felt like a trapped gas bubble in my chest or something. I burped a couple of times and it seemed to help some but it really scared me. Well, today I was at my office typing and the pain came again. This time Jeff made me go to the ER. They did a Lung CT, EKG, blood tests, chest x-ray, all of which came back ok. The one blood test was to check the hear enzimes or something. Now they want me to have a stress test and an echo. Given what Jeff has been through the past year I am really freaking out. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on with me?
I have been getting winded easily lately and my doctor was testing to see if I may have asthma. I have an inhaler which seems to help when I use it. My doctor said that the symptoms could also be stress induced. I am a very anxious person and have been under a lot of stress lately so that makes sense.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michelle
