Checking back in

Just checking in. It's been a while since I've been on here. I was shocked to learn of Bonnie's passing. I am so sad. I need to get busy and check in on everybody here. I was very busy with holidays and then in January we found out that our dog has chronic hepatitis. She's young...only four. I have to admit that as an empty nester our dogs become our "in-house" children. So, most of my time on the computer has been researching canine chronic hepatitis. I have missed staying in touch and will do better. LINDA

Linda, I'm so glad to see your posts. I know exactly what you mean about being empty-nesters and how your dogs become your children. My husband calls our dog "our good child". The man that caused my daughter to tell her kindergarten teacher "My Daddy hates all living things." now asks our dog for a hug, and kisses him before he kisses me when he gets home. Best wishes on your dog's health.
