Hmmmm.... Well, I'm not dead yet, that's fer sure!
Don't recall if I posted about the house, but my wife and I bought one back in September. We haven't moved in yet, still have a lot of painting work and some other modifications including a ramp for her in the front to be done which is harder to do in the snow...
In November I got a weee bit of a promotion of sorts. One of the reporters we had on staff left for Wisconsin (I know that's not spelled right, sorry) and I put my name in for his job and got it. Now I'm a full time reporter, plus a photographer on the side when needed for the "special stuff."
Millwaukee? is that spelled right?
Anyways, he's out there and I've got his desk and files and computer here, yippieee. Plus my own phone line, email address, and a beat.
Oh and ummm...
I'm a bonified, certified by New York State Department of Health, card carrying, Emergency Medical Technician - D (for defibulation, as in I know how to use an AED)
I've yet to go on a call mind you, but I could (not that I wasn't going before) and now I'm "qualified" to do what I've been doing.
Scary no?
My wife's done and needs to get herself home (she's still recovering from the flu)
More shortly if not later than before....
?????
Happy Day Off Day! (anti-P.C. movement...)
