I won't be able to make it today. I am having dinner guests this evening, so I don't expect to be able to excuse myself while I go up to chat with my friends..................lol
Actually, I am looking forward to dessert................mmmm made an apple crisp and I added some fresh rasberries........will serve hot with farm fresh vanilla ice cream. In fact would like to skip straight to dessert! LOL

As for my absense, I was in Mt Morris IL watching the final Cubs game of the REGULAR season with my grandfather. We sure enjoyed the Ron Santo tribute today .
Ah....I _should_ be able to join ya'll once again on Sunday afternoons...once the cold weather sets in.......

It's nearly all gone! I was smart enough to send leftover pie home with my dinner guests so that I wouldn't be tempted to eat it all!

As for the reuinion, sorry as much as I was hoping to go (a few months ago) I decided against it as I was unsure what would be going on with my subdural and replacing my mechanical valve. My husband and I would have loved to see Chicago too as neither of us has ever been. Guess we will have to wait for another time....
