Thanks Jim and Harry for your kind replies!! I will certainly try and join in the chat another time.
Harry, I am having a terrible time with getting the mask for the cpap to seal...I have to have a full face mask as I am a mouth breather, and it just doesn't want to seal. I am going to see about getting the "oracle" just for the mouth, but it sounds a little difficult also!

Hi Nan,
I have had the same trouble that you have, and I just got my new mask (they have to be replaced every 6 months) and the one that I got this time seems to be better than my old one.
The new mask is by RESMED It's called the Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask, and it seems to be alot better than my old one. It has an attatchment that conforms to the forehead and it has a button to adjust the contour, and it actually seems to help stablize the mask so that you get a better seal. Mine also came with a dvd rom to play that walks you right through setting it up and adjusting it. I just thought that this might help you, which I pray that it does, as I have been through this hell myself. I am going to call my medical equipment company to see if they will keep sending me this exact mask
