I'm sorry
I'm sorry
I know how frustrating it can be my son Justin was 17, (well actually would have been 16 the first 2 dates) and his surgery was postponed3 times this spring, the first was because he was sick,so was cancelled the day before. so they rescedualled for 3 weeks and said keep him home from school so he doesn't get sick again, Then a few days before the 2nd date, the surgeon called and was going out out town a for a few days, right after Justin's surgery, so since he has had post op problems, he wanted to postpone it for a few more weeks, THEN a few days before that date, he postponed again, So we actually ended up going to a different hospital/surgeon, but because of all the delays, Justin missed the rest of school from march on, baseball season, (in his junior year and hoped to play in college, so that's a big problem) AND what really made Justin sad and mad was he is an Eagle scout and for 2 years he and his dad had been planning for and fundraising to go to Florida w/ Scouts and spend a week sailing the florida Keys, if he had his surgery the first 2 dates, he could have still gone but 2 months made it impossible. I know that things have to be as good as possible for OHS, but sometimes they really don't get how much is involved with makiign arrangements, getting time off work for the familymemers and things like that.
I DO however agree w/ Nancy about things happening for the best Tho, all along I preferred the 2nd surgeon, but Justin and Don had confidnece in the 1st and since I believe alot of the outcome relies on the patients feelings, I went along w/ them. by the time it was postponed a 3rd time, even Justin thought maybe "someone" was trying to tell him he should go the other doc. (and he did great) Lyn
