Has anyone else noticed an increase in cankersaurs post surgery?

I have a hunch it is because I am brushing my teeth more than I have before...

any good remedies I have been trying to consume more vitamin c but its not helping

the cankersaurs seem to be lasting longer than ones i have previously had as well

I don't get canker sores, but my SO does. What I can tell you that the reason you are getting more is probably because your body is low on a good bacteria. Eating yogurt will help to easy the pain and eliminate the sores.

Around here, when someone gets a canker sore, I take it as a sign that a cold is coming on.

Good Luck

I used to get them a lot - a side effect of my job as a bacteriology technician, I think; they slowly (over 20 or 30 years) cleared up after I quit the job.

I used to use an anaesthetic-type cream, I think it was called Ora-Jel or something, but I think that was in Britain, many many years ago. You could maybe check with your pharmacist and see if there is anything these days that can help. It's kind of like polysporin for the mouth :D

I have had an unusually large amount of canker sores since surgery. One of the doctors here told me it could be a residual effect from surgery. I also had many, and terrible , hot flashes. These things seem to be lessening with time.
