Nathan was started on Keflex today for an ear infection, and he has usually 3 acoholic beverages during the week, and was wondering if taking this Keflex
4X/day and having a glass of wine with dinner could cause his INR to fluctuate. He has been on Keflex before with no changes in his INR, but never with any alcohol, and on the other side, his 3 alcoholic beverages have appeared to have no effect either but we were wondering about mixing the two....

Thanks from the both of us :)

If Keflex doesn't change his INR and neither does alcohol, I doubt that the two will do much either. But he home tests right? So just throw in a test 3 days after starting the Keflex.
