My knee has been hurting real bad for about a month. Problem is that I can't bend my knee more than 90 degrees without it hurting below the patela and just above my calf in the back of my leg.

I'm pretty sure I didn't strain it or pull something (we'll see at the Dr. later today) so I'm not sure if it could be from the Acupril I take to lower my blood pressure.

I'm going to do a search on it and see if swelling or joint pain is a side effect but I thought I'd ask some real experts (people that have actually taken the drugs not just ones that theorize about them).

Gracias!!!

Hi Kevin,

I've only just seen your post, so excuse the delay in replying. I've been taking an ACE inhibitor (Ramipril) since before my AVR in 2000, and I can't say that I've had any problems I can put down to it - certainly no problems with my joints. I take a daily dose of 10mg in conjunction with warfarin and have noticed no side effects from either drug.

Hope your problem gets sorted quickly,

Simon

I take Accupril and I haven't had any joint problems that I would relate to it.

I think I just sprained my knee.

1 week + and it feels a lot better.

Weird, never thought I did anything to hurt it....
