Babydoll

Hi, I have a woman question to ask. Am trying to get prepared for surgery on Sept 8 like buying the gowns and PJ that button up instead of pull on. lose clothing etc. What did/do you do about the bra? Am a 42C and I don't want to flop around for months! I need the support if you know what I mean.

Hi Babydoll,
Thanks to Andrea I went out and bought the shirts and bras. What I did is get bras that were one or two sizes bigger in measurement but the same cup size. Then I went to the fabric store and bought bra extensions (a hook and eye set that extends the measurement. I hope this is enough, my surgery is coming up next week.
Lots of Blessings,

go on the net and look up Carol Wright or Dream Products. They have sleep bras that are soft stretchy and hook in the front. I used those. Keeps things in their proper place and not falling under your arms :D when you sleep!

so I'm a man

so I'm a man

all most all my patients simply did without. if you must skip the metal underwire they can mess with the ekg.

Hi Babydoll, I'm the same size that you are. I bought some sports bras at Wal Mart that hooked in the front. They were real comfortable to wear during the day and even at night.

I went with Glenda's approach, I started wearing sports bras, and even the loose ones, called bralettes (not as much elastic). I got so used to them, I wear them all the time still almost 2 and a half years later. Got to go with whatever you find comfortable.

I think I will just wear a real baggy shirt and just let them hang . I will put another open shirt over the short baggy one. I had one heart surgery and I remember how uncomfortable the bras were. When I re enter the public forum I will than put one one. ....I just home no one looks at my feet though to see the black and blues that will be there. :p Jenny

Hi, I bought some of those camisoles that had a bra built in. They were so comfortable, I hated to go back to regular bras. Good Luck with your surgery.

Kathy, hi, I am going to Bringhams and Womens on August 17th, I noticed that is where you went also. I am just wondering your impression of it and the care there. Dr. Gregory Couper is my surgeon and I am wondering also if you have heard of him? Thank you, Kathy.
