Interesting. I guess I always heard it was just a marker and not an indicator anyway. Hm. So the drug companies will go after anything, won't they. Will be interesting to see what "miracles" they hawk once they get the stats for reducing your CRP and the chemicals mixed to facilitate it.

High cpr

About two years ago I developed severe diffuse painful muscle weakness. My professors 50 years ago called this "muscular rheumatism". It is now called polymyalgia rheumatica. My cpr was sky high- over 10! However this condition reponds like magic to 10 mgm prednisone a day. My last cpr was 3.2 and I am just about asymptomatic. I am tapering off the prednisone, 1 mgm
each month- down to 6 mgm daily and seem to be OK. Interesting, my heart and blood pressure are doing just fine and none of my physicians think the high cpr will cause any harm.
