I am ridiculously delighted by this. I've been on 2.5 mg bisoprolol for years, was disappointed that I was still prescribed bp meds after surgery. However, I've apparently become active enough (though by no means an athlete) that I don't need it. My resting pulse has been generally 44 and a few times in the upper 30's:eek:. The ace inhibitor was also reduced to 5 mg.

Good news Deb, i cant wait to get off of some of the post op meds. Im at about 12 pills a day right now. Good news for you!

yeah, I was turning cartwheels at one year post-surgery whn I got my betablocker down to half. Was in at doc the other day, BP was low, so maybe the other half can start going soon, and the BP pills, too :D Althoug I must admit, I have no problems with either of them, but at 54 years old, the less I need to take, the better - save them for the future when might need them.

My mother is still reluctant to take anything - she was down for the weekend and has a stiff shoulder, and refused a tylenol!
