Has anyone ever had a valve repair or replacement in the Buffalo are mainly at ECMC Hospital in Buffalo or Mercy Hospital?

I believe you mean the Buffalo (NY) area.
Is that correct?
I will defer to our NY members for their experiences.
I don't recall anyone from Buffalo but I don't read every post or thread.

Yes, sorry about that. We do have some good hospitals in this area and thought maybe someone just came this way other than Cleveland. So yes, it would be Buffalo NY

First, Welcome! I moved here from the Williamsville area...so I am familiar with your neck of the woods. When I lived there, most people I know went to Cleveland for heart surgery, and most people from Cleveland came to Buffalo for cancer treatment.
Here is a link to the NYS health dept. data which tells you hospital surgery and success rates, as well as specific surgeon rates.

You didn;t mention which valve surgery, but at first look, it appears there are no hospitals in Buffalo that do as many surgeries as say in Rochester or here in Syracuse, which seems odd. Good luck in your search!
