We are preparing for the possibility of a 2 foot snowfall. Weather reports don't mean much in the mountains, since weather patterns are very local. To me, this looks like it is gathering it's strength before the big strike.

I hope it doesn't so you can get down the mountain to catch your flight!

Why not leave your Mountain home tomorrow for the city? where your flight leaves on Thursday....Better to be safe than sorry. ..I ran into a friend at P.O. today..she's flying out Thursday too. for Golden, Co. I asked her if she was ready for the snow?she replied that they are watching the New Mexico weather..thatson told her, whatever New mexico gets ..usually comes north? To Co.?..It has been in the 70's here for 5 days. Afraid, she is in for a shock. Bonnie

I would check with the school board..early tomorrow..If the snow starts..they would probably cancel, too.....I know, when we have a snow forecast..they cancel..ALL schools, ect. :D Mainly due, to the rural roads that the school buses run..If they cancel your schools tomorrow, most likely all school activies would also be cancelled...Including the board meeting......B/T/W ..I, too, live in the Mountains. In North Georgia..Maybe not as high as you do, but..enough..that our roads are mainly icy..Where the sun does not hit the roads..for our school buses that travel. Many evergreen trees.........Sun just never comes up here?Mountains block it out. Gets dark at 4 P.M  ..Hope all works out..so you can see Ellie for Xmas. Bonnie
