Breathing question--real quick!

OK, all,

Sometimes, I have difficulty breathing when I am lying flat on my back in bed at night. What's up with that?

Take note that my last echo turned out great (in August), and my valve has a very slight leak. The mitral valve was repaired five years ago.

I can offer a suggestion, just based on my last year....GERD. I had a lot of trouble one night... trouble breathing, pressure on chest. ER found no heart issues, recommended I see a gastro (which incedntly I have one!). Ended up taking out my gall bladder and outtin me on meds for GERD. No issues since then.
