Bon Voyage - Alaska here I come!

Well, it finally got here! Have all our bags packed & ready to go on our 12-day Alaskan vacation!

I've packed my meds, a brief medical history my cardio gave me to take, my INR monitor, BP cuff, & even a bathroom scale! (I know, I know, why would I want to take the scale? Wish I could leave it behind but being that fluid retention is my biggest enemy right now, I have no choice! I've requested a low-sodium diet while on the ship -- while on shore, I'll just have to pick & choose.)

What's ironic is that on this same fateful week, 33-years ago, May 1975, I was reluctantly packing my bags to go to Houston for my 1st OHS! "Wow, the twists & turns life takes!"

My husband & I both face troubling issues upon our return but for now, we are just grateful that we are realizing a life-long dream.

For those of you facing upcoming surgeries, procedures, etc., my thoughts prayers are with you for a bright & successful outcome!

Is it that time already!!! Seems like just yesterday you told us that you were going. Wow, does'nt time fly....
You have a great time bring back alot of pictures!!! I pray everything will be fine and you'll have a great time..
Don't get sea sick. I did but I get motion sickness on anything.
