Blood pressure meds ................

Anyone care to comment personal experiences with on blood pressure medications that are compliant with warfarin ACT?

It might be necessary for me to change from the one I'm currently taking.

I was told that none of my blood prssure meds would interfere with Coumadin. So far it hasn't. What kind of problem are you having?

I've been on 25mg Atenolol and 40mg Lisinopril for a couple of years with no interaction with INR

I've searched all of them I can think of and none of them interact thus far. Granted I don't know them all.

If you forget to take your bp meds., your INR can decrease because the bp meds. slow your body's metabolism. No interactions that I know of though.

I've taken Metoprolol for the last 2 yrs, and even at different dosages my INR has always been steady.
