Tonight we had the total eclipse of the moon down here in the deep south

and near totality

Beautiful ! No blood moon here in the UK unfortunately so we have to admire those photos.

We also had a very full moon. My daughter moaned "Great. Now all the psych intake beds will be full again. . . "

She has seen (anecdotally, of course) that the full moon tends to bring out all the wacko's and crazies. Folks in healthcare dread it.
