I listen to a bunch of stuff via radio, one of them being BBC Radio 4. Well, this morning I heard Billy in Ireland. I have the thread if you want to go hear it. The show is "You and Yours" and he's about 25 minutes into the show and if you click about 25 times, you'll fast forward right to it. It's very interesting. And it's like hearing an old friend.

Thanks, I got it just fine.

No way to refresh for some reason.. Listening to the whole show. Enjoying the accent. Just heard the "prelude".

Henslyee did Billy tell you how tall he is?;) It's funny because our avatars do not show height. Especially my current one.

Just completed. Can't say all I want to say here.

For now.... Billy you have touched many hearts with your outreach on the Silzone subject.{{{{Hugs}}}} from Chicago. See you this fall.

Hi Ann,

I got it just fine, and thanks for giving us the link.
Billy's voice is very nice, and I could understand him just fine. Funny, I'm having a terrible time understanding the English or Australian accent, and seldom watch an English/Australian movie or show. I just don't get what they are saying!
Listering to the whole show brought back sad feelings all over again. What happened to Myrtle and many others was terrible and St. Jude's ought to be held responsible.

PS. Ann.. How did you find this?

Hugs to you all and especially to you Billy...

I listened to the whole story. To hear Billy talking about his dear wife's death, just about broke my heart.

The entire on-air article, was extremely informative and well-done.
I really don't understand how this product could have been touted as anti-microbial, when in fact, it had the exact opposite effect. How much more faulty could the testing and engineering have been? Very tragic and very irresponsible.

Well Billy I went against my better judgement and loaded up RealOne Player to hear this broadcast. You sound just as you do on the telephone. Someday, I'd love to hear that accent in person. ;)

By the way, I have the clip saved, at least temporarily, for anyone with RealOne Player that would like to hear it.

I too listened and was touched by the whole story. A tragic story but I appreciate Billy's tenaciousnesss in pursuing the truth and alerting others. We owe him a debt of gratitude. Thank you Billy.

Amen to that, Betty. Let's not lose sight of the important things here. Billy - I can't think of a more loving tribute to your dear wife than your ongoing efforts to change the process. I salute you!

Thank you.....

Thank you.....

My thanks to all of you who listened to the programme.

I have researched the subject for almost three years now and there is still more work to be done. Many times in that period I wondered if I would ever get answers to some of my questions and there were times I felt like giving up.

Sometimes it appeared that nobody wanted to listen and nobody wanted to help and then along came the good old BBC. They threw everything they had at it and did a very professional job.

It was a great pleasure to meet the team who interviewed me. They were with me for two days and the Presenter of the show, John Waite is actually a cousin of Terry Waite who many will remember was taken hostage some years ago. John, Sue the producer and Dan the researcher all worked quite a few very late nights to produce what I considered to be a very well balanced and informative production.

I sincerely hope that the contents of the programme did not alarm any of our newer members who may not be aware of the events of a few years ago. If anyone has any questions or fears on the content I would be happy to explain further if you would e-mail me through the forum.

Thank you all for your messages of support, either on the forum or by e-mail and private message. They have been very heartening to me and much appreciated by me.

God Bless,
