Very shocking; I've watched Pitchmen a few times and enjoyed it.
Hmmm.... it will be interesting to hear what the autopsy has to say. Wonder if there's any relationship to the 'hard landing' yesterday.
How sad. Maybe he had some internal head injury from the items falling.....

I'm Guessing / Betting that he died from a Brain Bleed.
Bottom Line: If you get hit in the Heat, Check It Out!
You may want to wait a couple of hours if you do NOT feel any discomfort, to give a slow bleed time to show up in tests / scans.

And as we've learned, it applies to anyone, not just those on Coumadin.
Say what you might about Billy, but the products he spoke for, for the most part, were good and did what he said it would do.
He was a smart guy ... made a ton of $$$$ acting like a nut ..... I should have been able to retire years ago

This morning's paper said that his wife mentioned that he wasn't feeling well when he went to bed.

heard it yesterday afternoon. what a shock. I use some of the things he pitched and love most of them. esp the laundry additive. use it all the time.
I had never seen Pitchmen until yesterday when I was cruisin the TV and watched some of it. they were making a commercial and apparently it was made in his home. his 2 yr old daughter was walking round in her pjs. he went to walk down the hall and the door he was going into was a double door. what a beautiful home it was. then I switched away and heard about his death. thought the show was a memorial for him.

Saying it was his high blood pressure???? I wonder if he knew he had it???? that is strange all these 50 year old people dying very sad!!!!!
Saying it may have been an enlarged heart.

Poor guy. I wonder if any doctor had ever diagnosed it. Might have been able to get the correction, as so many of us have been blessed to do, and continue with his life.

It did seem like it could be a brain bleed from the blow to the head earlier. As a pitchman/entertainer, he was the best of his day.
Gale Storm just passed away, as well. Of course, she was way past 50. But I used to watch My Little Margie when I was a kid...

Popular product pusher Billy Mays had an enlarged heart and likely died over the weekend of a pulmonary embolism, or blocked artery, a medical examiner told reporters on Monday. There was no sign of head trauma. He was 50.

Oh, I didn't hear about Gale Storm. I used to watch My Little Margie myself, when I was a small child. Mom didn't have to worry about what I was viewing in those days. Gee I can't believe I just said that. Makes me sound Old!
