Hi Folks, I did my second 5K race last week with a much better time (27:27) than my first one (37+). I'm still about 6 minutes off my pre-surgery time. I would have posted this sooner, but some other things (like a cold) got on my mind. Will

Outstanding!

Great news! Feels great, doesn't it? Keep up the good work.

Congratulations, Will!
I'm envious of your time. The run is definitely my weak event in triathlons.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress.

DUUUUDE.....If I could get to within 6 minutes of my best pre-surgey time I would be shouting from the roof-tops. That is great news. Congrats!
Rock on,

Hi PJmomrunner, This post is now dated. I have not been able to do any running since the middle of May due to a hernia operation. My Doc said to wait till July before starting to jog and wait till September for any weight lifting. The hernia was right in the center of the abdomen where the draining tube was for the replacement.
