I FINALLY got my roll of film developed from the October VR.com reunion in Golden! Got a new digital camera for Christmas and my old camera was kind of forgotten about.

I have some wonderful pictures of everyone and also the last picture is of Betty and I in the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO (where I live - ya all should come visit here - it's a vacation mecca).

I will have the pictures posted by Ross on this thread as soon as I get them scanned and sent to him to resize. So, stay tuned - hopefully the pics will be posted by Sunday.

Seeing the photos reminded me again of what a wonderful time I had meeting everyone - everyone is so happy, so glad to be alive and we had a wonderful time at the reunion celebrating that fact!

Christina,
I was in Estes Park this past May on my way back to Ohio from California. I also stayed in Leadville. You certainly live close to heaven there. I envy you.
It must be a bit cold right now or, maybe because you are so high up, you are closer to the sun and thus warmer than us in the Ohio valley. :D:D

Hensylee,

Hensylee,

I was scatterbrained before my surgery, now even more so. :( Anyway, the surgery is my excuse. Of course it's NOT getting older, now is it? ;)

Geebee,

Yes a person does feel very lucky to live in Estes Park. Leadville is my second favorite town in Colorado - talk about high in elevation - Leadville is around 10,200 feet I believe and Estes is around 7,500 feet ASL.

However, the winters are loooong here in Estes - we cannot plant anything in the way of flowers until mid to late May and even then the flowers have to be in pots that you can bring inside just in case. We invariably get some snow in late May. The sun is warm and the winters are not severe, very mild, just looooong!!

We just got through with our January thaw - almost to 60 degrees here in the mountains, but winter is to make its comeback in the next few days. I am from Iowa and the winters are bitter - chilling to the bone there - out here the air is dry and the winters are milder than most people think.

Thanks Ross!!!

Thanks Ross!!!

For posting the pictures for me! Enjoy looking at them everyone! This is an advertisement for this year's reunion in Las Vegas - see the fun you can have at a VR.com reunion!

Again, thanks to Rain for making the Golden reunion such a wonderful time.

Wow, Christina, I agree with Cort: what a cool reminder of our wonderful 2004 reunion. Thanks for posting.
