..when we do our moment of silence at the beginning of the school day, I will be thinking about you and sending some prayers and positive thoughts your way.
You will soon be on this side of the mountain.
Paul,
It doesn't seem fair that you're facing this surgery again--two in less than six months--but hopefully it will be an easy journey.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow, and we'll be waiting news that everything has gone well.
Godspeed,
Mary
Has anyone heard how his surgery went? Did he choose same Dr. Is he having robotics again or traditional and will they repair again or replace? Sorry for so many questions, but just tuned in today and didn't see anything. Thanks, Cindy
Well I guess I screwed up. I just got an email from Paul last night saying he was home already! He had surgery on the 11th (got moved up from the 15th). He said he has a "ticker" now so I assume he means he has a mechanical valve. He did make some comments about conventional surgery vs robotic. His heart rate is a bit fast & he has some a-fib; par for the course I suppose.
He messed up my planned visit to see him today! I was hoping to meet him in person today at St. Luke's but now we may try to get together sometime this summer once he's back at work & on the road. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.
Thanks for the update and glad to hear Paul is home. I am sure he is happy he messed up the hospital visit plans as he is now safe and secure in his own space.
