Hello friends!

Alexia has a doozy of a cold, no fever, can this affect her INR/Protime levels? She actually posed this question.....her INR was a little low, 1.9, normally 2.0-2.5.

Thanks for any help!

Valerie

lack of proper diet, medications, all these will bring it down. Colds usually don't, but it depends on what she is taking for it too.

A cold has never affected Chloe's INR before unless the cold has affected her appetite and shes not been eating as usual, or if shes actually been physically sick with it too. Or as Ross says, taken something stonger than normal paracetamol to cool a temp etc.
Hope Alexia feels better soon and her INR picks up quickly,

Love Emma
