Hi everyone I've been off line for a couple of days. We had over 44 people at our lake cabin on Table Rock Lake during this last week-end. My daughter's special choir group from her school, 30 kids and ten adults. The cabin was full but the kids sure bonded. They all had such a great time and and t's a good way to start a new school year. My uncle has a trailer about 1/2 block away so that's where my husband and I stayed. I let the kids and the other adults have the cabin. We got some sleep, they didn't. We learned the hard way. Last week-end we had 26 youth and four adults from our church down and we stayed in the cabin with them. I think I slept four hours the entire week-end and felt bad all week afterwards. I wasn't going to let that happen this time. I am exhausted and my knees are still hurting so bad but at least I'm not sick. I hate to admit it but I know that surgery is the only relief I am going to get from these knees. I've lost over 30 pounds over that last two month and that has helped. I only need to lose 70 more now! LOL :D :D That's really not funny! It's awful that I've let myself get this way. Oh well, wish me luck with the other 70.

I was thinking about you the other night, so I am glad to see your post. Wow, you've been very busy, Glad you survived all those kids and great news on your weight loss.:)

Glenda,

Wow!!! 30 pounds in 2 months is GREAT!!! Give yourself a hand. I have had to watch my weight my entire life so I know how hard it can be but it can be done and you can do it!!!:D I lost 60 pounds over about a year. I have hip problems and it has been a big help but has not cured the problem all together.

Wishing you continued sucsess!!

Tom

Glenda - so glad to hear from you. You've been a busy bee!

My in-laws have vacationed at Table Rock Lake for 35 years. This was the first year that they were unable to go due to their health. It's a beautiful lake. They always stayed at a resort near Shell Knob.

So glad to hear from you Glenda- I've been thinking about you- glad that you were out having fun despite the knees. Congratulations on the weight loss!

Of course I wish you luck with the other 70. I've only gone down a whopping 10 pounds, and my stomach is always growling at me. I'm impressed with what you've done. You're one tough filly, Glenda.

Very best wishes,

Way To Go!

Way To Go!

Dear Glenda The Good, Over 30 pounds is fantastic! I'm sorry for your pain, but glad you got up to the lake. Did the kids sing for you? Take care, Brian

Glenda,

I was wondering where you were, but I've learned that you won't desert us; you've just got more things going on than all the rest of us combined do!
Heck, I thought maybe you'd been out bush hogging the entire SW section of Missouri in your free time!:p :p :p :p :p :D :D

Losing 30 pounds is incredible! You keep it up, and people won't be able to tell which Glenda you are!

Way to go!!! 30 pounds in 2 months is excellent!
My Weight Watchers meeting is at lunch today. Several of us e-mail each other during the week with encouragement, recipes, etc. One woman has been in & out of WW for years, came back about 6-8 months ago and last week recorded 50 pounds lost. We were so thrilled for her. She has more to go, but we're rooting for her.
And I'm rooting for you, too, Glenda!
