surgery was better than I had hoped. Valved was cleaned up a did not have to be replaced, Aorta was replaced.glad its over now its time to mend.

I have a question for sleeping post surgery, can I lay on my side while sleeping?

Does it hurt to do so? Then no. But I've been gradually moving right-ward, with a support cushion under my chest, and am more comfortable that way than flat on my back.

Oh, and by the way: good to have you back! Keep recovering well.

I sometimes sleep with a pillow behind my back. This way when I am sleeping on my side I can lean back a little.
