Well I just got back from the next round of tests although I won't know anthing for another week until they get the results back.

The lung function test was pretty difficult.... they kept telling me to breath out and I was all out of puff!..... although they kept insisting I wasn't  They also tried ventalin (sp?) to see if that would help, and although I did do slightly better after that I think it was more that I had gotten used to the equipment - I certainly didn't feel any different and to be quite honest, the results weren't that much better.

I found the stress test interesting. They were having major dramas trying to read my BP because my pulse is very hard to detect, but I was sitting around 95/60 and the highest it got to was 135/80.

My heart rate is what intrigued me the most..... I spent about 25 minutes waiting for the doctor, but while I was sitting there doing nothing, my HR kept moving between 60-85 BPM..... first it would go up, then down, then up, then down..! Very odd, especially since I wasn't doing anything to make it vary - just sitting quietly  . Once the test got underway it got upto 179 at a fast walk, but it was so jiggedy-jaggedy that the tech and the doctor thought one of the leads must have come loose - although it hadn't.

Anyhoo, it will be interesting to see what they come back with.... the Holter monitor could prove very interesting (..I also noticed lots of PACs & PVCs while I was waiting for the doctor, so it doesn't seem like they've let up at all..). I'll keep you all posted on how it goes.

Cheers

Hey, maybe with all the "weird" things happening, it means they'll figure out what's been going on? I sure hope so! Let us know as soon as you get the results.

I guess it's better if weird things are going to happen that they at least happen while you are at the doc's office so they can assess it.

Good luck with the results.

Anna, That is good news (in my mind) that the weird things were happening while you were beign monitored. This will help get them looking in the right direction. My fingers are crossed for you.

It's going to drive me crazy having to wait around until they get back to me..... but I guess I'll just have too!

Oh well, I'll just have to distract myself by keeping tabs on everyone here! ;) :)

Cheers
