HI all,

Well I am back from the tests and all went as well as can be expected I guess. I had a bad allergic reaction to the Vancomycin (also allergic to ancef)
but they got that under control before I went ahead with the tilt table test. This test came back negative with no symptoms - I was just really drowsy/jittery from the benadryl for reaction so it was hard to get through.
They then went ahead and did the EP study which I don't remember at all but they also didnt find anything with this so they went ahead and implanted the insertable loop recorder into my left shoulder/pectoralis area and I will have this for up to 14 months. This hurts the worst out of any of the procedures and unfortunately I am off of work again because of this implant surgery for atleast another 2 weeks. -- I work as a nursing assisstant so having a hard time making a go of keeping up with my bills and all but trying to stay positive. And hopefully this incision will get better and not hurt so much soon..

I will keep all posted how recovery is. Thankfullly I only had to stay in the Hospital one night and do see my EP doctor in 2 weeks. Talk soon,

Erica

Glad the tests are behind you. The recorder location must be like a pacemaker implantation. Just baby it for a while, not too many shoulder/arm movements until it heals.

My husband has a pacemaker. He doesn't even feel it now. Took about 2 weeks to feel better.
