Does anyone have any experience with azithromycin and INR effect ? Been to Al?s list but is a little inconclusive. I?m getting ready to start a post dental regime due to mild tooth infection.
My site is inconclusive because this interaction is inconclusive. I've seen it happen in some people and not others. I suspect that lack of eating due to the not feeling well, mouth hurting etc may have as much effect as the drug itself, if not more. The safest thing is to get your INR checked about Friday if you start it today.
Welcome aboard. I take two capsules of clindamycin with no affect on my inr. Have taken one time previously. Good luck on you. And hope you get the answer you are looking for. At least, you are good at getting pre-med.
