My AVR surgery is tomorrow morning. My surgeon and I agreed on a bovine valve. I can't believe this is going to happen, denial and acceptance are always the real issues to deal with. I will talk to you all later.
Thanks for the help from all you valvers.

Rick

Good luck tomorrow rick --- before you know it you'll be awake and in recovery.

The hard part (the anxiety) is over now, let the docs take control :)

See you on the other side of the mountain!

Joe

Good luck, good luck!! There are many of us here, still waiting in the wings. We will look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, visualize your success and extended good health!! You'll make the journey just fine!

Best wishes. Marguerite

Wishing you the best results and an uneventful recovery, Rick. I hope you will have someone post for you.

Best of luck tomorrow and see you on the other side; it's a great place to be.

Godspeed.

Rick. You'll get an IV tomorrow, blink your eyes, and wake up in recovery. Best of luck to you. Don't forget to pack some pajama bottoms. They were my most used item.

God Bless!

Best wishes and we pray you'll be walking out of that hospital as a new person, with a smile from ear to ear.

Rick, God speed and we'll see you on the other side. Hugs and prayers are coming your way. Be sure and have someone post for you after the surgery so we won't worry.

My thoughts are with you

Rick, all the best. Have a good evening - good meal, a couple of drinks, next week this time you'll be back home recovering. Please have someone post to let us know how you do. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Good luck

Good luck

You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. You will also be in the capable hands of the entire team of people who will be caring for you tomorrow and the rest of your hospital stay. Tonight you may be nervous but tomorrow you will walk in the doors of the hospital and be calm.
As was said, you will walke up a "new man" with a repaired heart many good times ahead of you.
