Hi

I have viisted this site a number of times since my first surgery 8 years ago, I am not really one to keep in regular contact but found it invaluable resource. I recenlty went in for a second op to have an AVR replaced this time with a mechanical one this time after a Ross first time around. Again the ability to ask questions prior to surgery and read others experiences was great, I my surgery 1st december, was home on 6th and feel great, for some reason this time I am recovering so much quicker, I just need to make sure I rest and dont try and start doing things too quickly

Thanks everyone for this great resource

Richard

Thanks for posting an update, Richard and I am glad that the second time around was easier. Best wishes for a successful and uneventful recovery.

glad to know you are quickly recovering, but as you say, don't overdo. you've been there before so you already know the drill. Thanks for checking in. Do it some more.
