Does repair of an AV with a annuloplasty ring still require warfarin forever to prevent any clotting near the ring?

With a repair with a ring, usually you can expect 3 months or so with anticoagulation. The ring gets essentially encased in scar like tissue and doesn't interface with the blood so long term anticoagulation is usually not an issue with repair.

No warfarin here after repair with annuloplasty ring. Some do, some don't.
