Has anyone had one for a-fib and did it work??

I had it done along with my AVR in Feb. It has worked but I will tell you what my surgeon told me. He said it there was a real good chance it would work but it might take up to six months to know. I had several episodes prior to my surgery and two put me in the hospital. The reason I wanted to have it was to get off of Amiodarone ASAP and to be done with a-fib. He also said there was a good chance that I would have it again before I had a chance to fully heal.
I went into a-fib two weeks post surgery and had to be converted
which was no big deal. I have had no signs or symptoms sinse . I am off of the dreaded Amiodarone and I hope this case is closed. Good luck to you.
