I only discovered this forum the other day. Although my picture doesn't feature a TOOTS shirt I want to share a self portrait I took on the 40th day after my surgery.

Hey Seth , thanks for sharing your scar with us!!
Your scar is long for the bentall, I thought those scars
were only about 4 inches, I might be wrong!

Thanks everyone, I like the young Marlon Brando reference. The recovery isn't too great but I won't go into that here. Debbie the scar is 9 inches, you and me both have rather long scars.

Seth, mine is 9 inches too.
Can't see it on the pic, but I have another scar that runs right under my breasts from the first surgery that is 16 inches!!
If you count my leg incision and several tube scars
I've got about 30 inches total!!
More the better

Mine is long also. Yes, I had a Bental. I think they look at the abdominal aorta while they're in there. Sad thing is, now I have an abdominal aneurysm which I didn't have before.
