Hi All,
I'm getting a bit confused on the amount of different messages I'm getting from different sources. When looking at my size of aortic root (4.6cm on CT BUT 4.4x3.3 on MRI) and my BMA of 2.05, my professionals, including cardiologists etc keeps reassuring me not to worry at all.
When I search over the internet, like BMI heart researches and various other journals, they seem to operate at my size, I have not came across an article that says, 4.6cm or whatever size sinus of valsalva, should be left alone!!
One cardiologist told me that I'm reading scatter pieces of information on the internet which is very dangerious, he also told me that anything posted on the internet might err on the legal side, and that is why I'm getting a different message.
Even a specialist nurse from Dr Craig Millers office told me that my aorta is small (compared to what they see) and that there is nothing I should be concerned about, when I've sent him my measurements. And Professor Magdi Yacoub (who ordered my CT and MRI) reassured me a million times and said that most likely I would not need surgery!!
Sorry guys, I keep doing a ping pong here, somedays I just totally "forget" about this, and some days I go nuts searching and analysing my conditions!!
Whom shall I beleive ???
