Who Me? Now why would you think such a thing?
Yeap, I'm on Oxygen 24/7/365.
Very simple to use.
You must have a Doctors prescription in order to get the equipment and for me, that consists of 1 home oxygen concentrator (Oxygen generator) 2 "E" Tanks on a 2 wheel cart for emergencies (Like when my Ohio Edison/First Energy Power Provider Shorts Out Half The Nations Power) and 11 Oxylite portable Oxygen tanks which last me about 3 to 3.5 hours a piece at a flow rate of 3 Liters Per Minute.
Once you have the prescription, usually your Doctor or Hospital will get you set up with a Durable Medical Equipment provider that is acceptable to your insurance company. Just about all Medical Supply places in the phone book offer oxygen service.
There are 2 types of oxygen supplies.
1) Liquid Oxygen
2) Compressed Gas Oxygen
Of the 2 Compressed Gas is the safest to use and transport. My DME provider will not deal with Liquid Oxygen at all, so I use compressed gas.
Anything else you need to know, just ask me.
Oh yeah, if you have pets, get lots of extra lines and canulas. My cats are forever chewing holes in my lines.
