I know we have some members here who have had a valve for many years, 46 years and still ticking is the record as I recall. Do we know the longest time since OHS for double valvers? Either yourself or anecdotal.

My St Judes are 21 years and 7 months old now. I remember being on 2.5 mgs of coumadin per day when I had surgery and now just raised it to 3.0 mgs per day. My children were aged 15, 14 and 9 at the time. It was my second surgery since they did a mitral repair 5 years prior.
