"The Army now admits that it secretly dumped 64 million pounds of nerve and mustard agents into the sea, along with 400,000 chemical-filled bombs, land mines and rockets and more than 500 tons of radioactive waste -- either tossed overboard or packed into the holds of scuttled vessels"

Your army, not ours (thank &Deity.) - our sea is polluted enough as it is!

[sarcasm]What? The U.S. do something so stupid? Nah, it's propaganda. The U.S. never does such things.[/sarcasm]

I spoke too soon about it being a US problem, it was discussed in our parliament...
"Will the Minister confirm the information obtained by my hon. Friend the Member for South Shields (Dr. Clark) that the MOD has dumped 1 million tonnes of munitions, plus bombs and chemical weapons-- including arsenic and nerve gas--in sites at sea including the Clyde and the North channel?."

(and yes, they really do speak like this - Hansard is verbatim)

With this sort of stupidity, I'm amazed the human race is still around...:(
