Just curious to know if anyone has been a member of the Jaycees in their area.... I met with a couple today that lead Elgin's Jaycees, in part to see about a presentation they had in December (while I was ill) about starting one's own business. Turns out, that same couple went to high school with my sister ... it is a small world.

Hey Cort,
I am a past member of the Sterling and Colorado Jaycees. I was the chapter President in 1978-1979, a State District VP, State Secretary and also chaired various projects. I am also a JCI Senator. Now they call me an Exhausted Rooster.:D It is a Great Organization to get involved with.

Hey Dave,

That's good to know. I signed up with the Elgin chapter...and am not sure how I'll be able to fit all of that into my schedule. They told me that it didn't matter how much time I spent, so I guess we'll see.....
