Answered prayers!!

I just got the call from Ben and Kerri. Kerri is in total remission! The PET scan showed NED (no evidence of disease)! We are all so very thankful! I wanted to thank all of you for your many prayers. They called in the middle of Kerri's chemo treatment today. The doctor had just come in to tell them the good news. She has two more chemo treatments to come. Kerri's doctor is also consulting with a doctor from Emory that gave Kerri her second opinion about what comes next. She still may have to have a couple more chemo treatments after the initial eight because one of her tumors was greater than 10 cm. The extra treatments would be like added insurance for the larger tumor but until the two docs talk, we won't know exactly what will be decided. We do know that she will still have to have the radiation. But we are thrilled beyond measure and so very thankful to God that no cancer showed up on the PET. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. Ben, Kerri, and all the family on both sides have just received our best Christmas gift ever!! Thank you all so much! LINDA
